Our 3s were away to Morpeth facing a well versed team. Taking to the pitch with ten players and despite being under continuous pressure in defence, the team demonstrated their resilience and determination to show this experienced team what they had in their arsenal. They demonstrated a range of solid skills from strong passing with ball pace incorporating argies and throwing aerials.

Our young team particularly showcased some great passing out from defence using the width of the pitch to make gains and put the opposition under pressure. The final scoreline did not reflect the effort put in by each and every one of our players. Playing such a team which consisted of ladies who have been playing regularly for decades, the team should hold their head high. They all kept going until the final whistle and left the pitch with smiles on their faces.

We were approached after the game by both umpires, the coach and many, if not all of the opposition to congratulate us for having such talented members in our club. Shout out from the other team goes to our goalie Amelia and fellow defender Faith for their tenacity.

Representing our club today they did us proud.
