With many of our girls playing for the County U13 teams this game was going to put teammate against teammate. The girls were raring to get back on the pitch and it showed as they started strong with some excellent team play, confident and solid in defence, then finding the space with ease and playing with freedom in attack. Again there were too many outstanding performances to name them all but Lucy scored a stunning reactive goal in the first half, Carys was solid in defence and Mara & Alice were composed and playmakers in the midfield. An excellent first game back for the girls and I look forward to seeing them progress for the rest of the summer.
